Test dates and content covered:
9/14/15: Students will have their first formal test of section 1.1-1.5. They need to study their exponent packets and they were given an extra credit puzzle to complete over the weekend if they want to use that as well.
9/21/15: Students will have their first binder check. Encourage them to keep their binders organized and in order. These will be 5-10 questions about things in their binder and count for quiz grades.
9/25/15: Students will have their second test and it will be covering scientific notation, square and cube roots, and estimating square and cube roots.
9/27-9/28: MAP testing Students take two days of MAP testing for Math.
10/5: Binder quiz- students will have a binder quiz please make sure their binders are up to date and they have all things organized.
10/9: Students will have a formal exit ticket over equations. This counts as a quiz grade.
10/15: Formal assessment on EQUATIONS. Students will be getting a study guide on Tuesday and need to make sure they are reviewing. This is one of the last formal grades before quarter grades go out October 22nd.
10/20: Students will take their first formative district test. It will cover everything we have covered in first quarter. It counts for a grade.
11/2: Students will have a binder check.
11/4: Students will have their test over slope. Please encourage them to study and review notes. This is the first test of second quarter.
11/13: Students will have a quiz over linear equation word problems, graphs, and points.
11/24: Equations test!!! Bring back study guide for points.
12/11: Exit ticket: functions
12/17: TEST: ALL THINGS FUNCTIONS!
2/1: Students will have a test over Pythagorean Theorem. Study guide is due this day for formal points. Puzzles are due for extra credit.
2/3: Formal exit ticket over Distance formula
2/11: Students will have a test over all four transformations: translation, reflections, dilation, and rotation. Please make sure they study notes!!
2/23: Students will take their formal transformation and similarity test. Please ensure they study their notes!
